Physical fitness is a general state of health and well-being — more specifically, the ability to perform physical aspects of sports, occupations, and daily activities.
Physical fitness can usually be achieved by eating nutritious foods, by exercising moderately to vigorously, and by getting sufficient rest and sleep.
For a nutritious diet, eat organic and natural foods whenever possible, avoiding hydrogenated oils, refined sugars and bleached flours as well as artificial preservatives and sweeteners.
Although both anaerobic and aerobic exercise are beneficial for some people, studies have clearly demonstrated the cardiovascular benefits of aerobic exercises,

Most people require about 7 or 8 hours of sleep each night to maintain the immune systems and energy levels of their human bodies.
To put the subject of physical fitness in context, the Bible — in 1 Timothy chapter 4, verse 8 — states that "bodily exercise is profitable for a little, but piety is profitable for everything,
having promise of life, of the present one, and of that to come".
